LAS VEGAS – Just minutes after Manny Pacquiao had violently turned Miguel Cotto’s face into raw hamburger, the chant rose up from the stands of the MGM Grand Garden Arena:

“We want Floyd.”

Pacquiao had delivered a systematic demolition job of Cotto, winning the World Boxing Organization welterweight title via 12th round TKO with round after round of devastating shots against a bigger, stronger man.

It was the second electrifying boxing performance of the fall. The first was Floyd Mayweather Jr’s 12-round decision over Juan Manuel Marquez in September. That fight broke the rare 1 million pay-per-view bar, a number that will likely be exceeded by this fight too.

So now the stage is set for a super fight that could set box office records – Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. It’s the dream bout between the two best pound-for-pound champions in the sport, hopefully sometime in 2010.

“If Floyd Mayweather wants to fight Manny Pacquiao he knows who to call,” said Bob Arum, the CEO of Top Rank Boxing, the promotion which handles Pacquiao.

Within minutes, Ross Greenberg, the head of HBO Sports said he had spoken to Richard Shaefer of Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather.

“Richard told me point blank, Bob Arum will be getting that call Monday,” Greenberg said. “He plans on meeting next week with Bob to make the Mayweather fight.”

There will, no doubt, be posturing and preening and negotiating over the split. There are no small egos in this battle; no small checks, either.

“Benjamin Franklin is the most important personality [in the negotiation],” said Greenberg, whose company would handle the pay-per-view. “His face, multiplied by 15 million brings people to the table. Each guy needs to look at the big picture and the big picture is a boat load of cash and a fight too important for the sport.”

Greenberg said the 2007 fight between Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya resulted in an $80 million purse.

“Is this one smaller?” Greenberg said, shaking his head. “Bigger.”

For boxing fans who care little about who gets more of the final millions and just want to see two legendary fighters in the prime of their careers, this will be a tantalizing wait.

“I think that is the fight the world wants to see,” Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, said.

Pacquiao’s performance here was a thing of beauty, the continuation of a run of brilliance. He chopped a big, powerful opponent down with a combination of speed, smarts and toughness to take shots of his own.

He didn’t shy away from leaning on the ropes and mixing it up with Cotto because he said he wanted to prove he can fight a physical fight and was tired of hearing about Cotto’s supposed strength.

“I yelled at him every time, why are you fighting his fight?” Roach said. “Manny says, ‘I can handle it.’ I said, ‘Well, prove it.’ And he did.”

Post-fight, Cotto was sent to a local trauma unit. Pacquiao performed an eight-song set with his band at an outdoor concert at Mandalay Bay.

The night left little doubt about his genius.

After a wave of shock all over Luzon Area, Philippines by Storm Ondoy (international name Ketsana), leaving a thousands people homeless and killing over hundred Filipinos and still rising, aids like relief goods are still distributed to the affected areas , rescuers are trying to reached to the places that are still being un explored.
All victims are evacuated to the higher places, some are still in their houses that are flooded by Ondoy.

And yet still to come, Storm Pepeng is approaching and may hit Philippine area of responsibility this Coming Thursday (Oct 1,2009) a bad start of October .

It is the winningest franchise in PBA history, fueled by an aggressive management willing to make the big move to make the team competitive. And after taking their 17th championship in the 2005 Fiesta Conference, the thirst for more championships was never again quenched until last Friday. The team built to win and dominate finally fulfilled the promise their fans and management have been waited for.

After four long years, the SAN MIGUEL BEERMEN are CHAMPIONS once more.

It was a series that went the distance, a first for a Barangay Ginebra-SMB finals match-up, with the Kings giving themselves good money to win it all by getting two chances to win the crown. But what Ginebra failed to seal in two tries, San Miguel closed in one.

Barangay Ginebra played to their potential and was in the lead for the entire series until the last day of the championships. The players gave it their all to defend their title but just came up short.

Jayjay Helterbrand carried his team as far as he could and played like the MVP that he is. His performance only strained by a hamstring that slowed even Mr. “Fast.”

Eric Menk was on his way to what could be another Finals MVP but his game’s sudden resurrection from the grave was still not enough to carry the Kings through.

Willy Wilson was a pleasant surprise after missing the first two games of the series.

But other players only had short apparitions in the series when they were needed to be more consistent.

David Noel led the Kings in scoring, rebounding and assists. But it seemed nerves or fatigue might have gotten the better of him in their two chances to clinch the series. He was very passive offensively in Games 6 & 7, managing only 8 points in Game 7.

Credit Coach Jong Uichico for being able to maximize the talent at hand. His ability to adjust his personnel to the opponents’ strength, using a different 10-man rotation in the start of the series compared to the end, should truly be applauded.

Although he was able to give his players as much rest as possible, it looked as though his players were tired in the last two games. They looked like a team that just received too many body punches in the early rounds of boxing match and had no strength to finish the fight.

In contrast, San Miguel grew stronger as the series wore on. Gabe Freeman was like a horse running the Kentucky Derby, gaining strength with each stride heading to the finish line. He was the energy source for the Beermen and the biggest thorn for the Kings.

It was not a one-man show though for Freeman, who ironically had his stay with the team in question before the end of the elims.

Jonas Villanueva continued his career year pocketing Finals MVP honors with his consistency while Marc Pingris and Dondon Hontiveros punched in good numbers in most victories. Jay Washington was their best local player until he was checked by Wilson, while the two players I felt really hurt Ginebra throughout the entire series were Mike Cortez and Danny Ildefonso.

Cortez came off the bench and was instant offense for the Beermen. A huge amount of baskets he made were clutch shots and it seemed that Ginebra didn’t have a good match-up with him, even forcing coach Jong to try Pacana on him.

For Ildefonso, this was a series that brought him back to the limelight. Although he may have filled the sports pages for the wrong reason early in the series, he let his game do the talking after that. He defended Noel respectably and also had key shots for the Beermen. His play, along with Washington and Pingris, never allowed Ginebra to play small and eventually dictated how the series was to be played. Their size just pushed the Kings around the entire series.

Coach Siot Tanquincen did a masterful job to give the San Miguel franchise their 18th championship. After dropping the first game of the series, he never allowed Ginebra to win back-to-back games while accomplishing that feat himself to win the crown.

They say it is better to coach a talent-laden team, but it also opens the door for greater failure! Remember, there are actually more instances that a team fails to reach its full potential. With more talent, it actually means more egos that have to be addressed. And with the talent presented to him, coach Siot was able to harness their potential and bring them to success.

In the end, San Miguel won the series because they played their game. They played big, with three big men, and Ginebra had no choice but to follow their lead even if they didn’t want to. The eventual size advantage wore down the Kings.

San Miguel’s bench was more consistent, while Ginebra struggled to find the form of Cyrus Baguio, Ronald Tubid and Sunday Salvacion. The combination of Cortez and Villanueva eventually overtook Helterbrand when his hamstring slowed him down.

Freeman was the best player of the series while Noel was far from his best to finish the series.

With an excellent mix of youth and experience along with speed and size, San Miguel is a team with enough promise to dominate for many years. Now that they’ve finally found the secret to winning and wrested their first trophy after a massive buildup, the league’s most feared team also has a championship to back them up.

With No. 18 in the bag, the Beermen’s eyes are set on number 19… and they’re not willing to wait very long.

Mahal ko na talaga siya, kaso hindi ko kaya, ngayon malayo siya sa akin, siguro tiwala at faith na lang kung magwowork pa ang aming relasyon, hindi ko alam kung ako ang may problema , dahil hindi ko matanggap na malayo siya, dahil ito ang unang experience ko sa mahal mo na malayo sayo.. masakit man tanggapin. , sobrang miss ko xa, ang hirap ng hindi kayo nagkikita, parang minumulto ka ng mga magandang alaala ninyong dalawa, hayy buhay nga naman!, sabi nga ng isang friend ko "Been there,done that, at hindi nag work ang sa amin" , un ang kanyang istorya, karamihan daw ng long distance relationship ay nagfafailed, hindi rin dahil sa malayo kayo sa isat isa, eto rin ay ang word na "Trust", dahil hindi mo rin alam ang nangyayari dun, habang siya ay malayo, maraming temptations ang naglipana.

lintik na pag-ibig , bakit kasi may mga ganun pangyayari kung kelan mahal na mahal mu na ang isang tao, bigla na lang siyang lalayo sayo,. nagiging long distance relationship ang kina uuwian ng lahat. maraming dahilan para hindi magwork ang isang relasyon , isa na rito ay pagiging malayo nyo sa isat isa at ngkakaroon ng lack of communication, ito ngayon ay aking nararanasan, inintindi ko naman ang sitwasyon niya,na malayo na siya at doon na ngtratrabaho, sinabi nya sa akin na magkikita pa kame o dadalaw siya dito sa manila, gagawa siya ng paraan para magkita kami sa isat isa, may time na tinanung ko siya kung posible kaming magkita ngayon papasok na buwan ng Hulyo, ang sagot nya sa akin ay hindi nya alam, so, walang kasiguraduhan na magkikita kame, ang hirap pala ng ganitong sitwasyon, lalu nat sa text messaging lang kaming naguusap, madalas nakakaboring ng sa text lang ang komunikasyon, my time na tatawag ako , at hindi sinasagot, kaiinis db?, sa text madalas ay kamustahan lang ,isang tanung isang sagot, bale ang nangyayare eh pag di ka na reply sa text eh, wala na ng continuation ang inyong usapan, nakaasar nga minsan!,kasi eto nalang ang way para makausap mo siya . .yun nalang mu na. More than 2 years narin ako nkikinig ng tambalan nila ka bisyong chris tsuper at nicole hyala ng love radio 90.7, siguro sila ngayon ang best fm dj's na nakilala ko sa himpilan ng mga radio,a. kung hasel ang umaga mu dahil sa sermon ng misis,wala kang panligo sa umaga,trapik, polusyon o nakasakay kana sa jeep pero naiwan mo ang pera mo sa bahay, ahaha, nkakatawa diba?, makinig ka lang sa tambalan siguradong tanggal ang hasel mu sa umaga.

Siguro ngayon nakasanayan ko ng makinig sa kanila tuwing umaga. Madalas on the way nako sa work, sa jeep ko sila napapakinggan,nagbibigay sila ng advices at opinyon sa problema ng isang taong sumangguni via text messaging (na may sense din naman),after nun, ay matatawa ka na talaga sa mga walang halong kaplastikan at mabalahurang komento nila sa mga buhay, at lalo na buhay pag-ibig ng mga ibat ibang tao na may halong tawa epek na nakakaloloko at pang asar talaga ,hehe at sana makadalaw ako sa kanilang himpilan, ma meet ko sila in person.

(kung madalas kang nakikinig,Mga kabisyo makakarelate kayo dito sa kwento ko ,kasi Minsan habang akoy nasa jeep nakikinig sa aking mp3 player, bigla ba naman akong ngumingiti , tinitigan ako ng katapat ko sa jeep na parang gustong sabihing baliw ako at dahil yan sa pakikinig ko sa kanila.)

Late this January,Im Decided to buy a new mp3 player, Coz last december I give my old one (the old player is a imitation of a Ipod nano,that I bought in quiapo :P ) to my sister as a christmas gift. so Just in my mind, why not buy another one, (not a imitation,hehehe)

I started to canvass ,surf from the net and try to choose the best and the cheapest . Im not expecting to buy a Ipod shuffle, cant afford, a replacement for that, is good, (kuripto ako eh,haha) and finally I have found one that fits in my pocket and also in my budget,..The Sandisk sansa clip, same as an Ipod clip, cheap and has a good features. and now my problem is,where can i buy this player. I texted jeff, if I can borrow money from his credit card, because my budget is short, but I assured to pay him.

We meet in Trinoma to look for it, and try to go to SM cyberzone,.after an hour of searching ,Unfortunately,We have not found one, so I decided to look for player that is similar to sansa.

Finally, I've found that is more like sansa and ipod,that is the Philips GoGear,small like Ipod clip, clear sound like sansa, and has Display on it, just what im looking for a mp3 player.
I bought this, using jeff's credit card, (that's the best thing happens on that day,hehehe)thanks jeff,xempre babayaran kita.

Right now,I happy for it.

Many college students go on summer missions trips. But rarely does one come back with plans to rescue a baby. Mallery Thurlow, a student at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, went to Haiti to help distribute food. One day a mother showed up at the distribution center with a very sick infant in her arms. The woman was out of options. The baby needed surgery, but no one would perform it. Without intervention, the baby would die. Mallery took baby Rose into her arms—and into her heart.

After returning to the US, Mallery searched for someone to operate on baby Rose. Most doctors held out little hope. Finally, Rose was granted a visa to leave Haiti, and Mallery went back to get her. Detroit Children’s Hospital donated the $100,000 surgery, and it was successful. A little life was saved.

It’s unlikely that we will have such a dramatic impact on others. Yet challenged by this student’s willingness, we can find ways to provide help. She didn’t let circumstances, youth, or inconvenience stop her from saving Rose’s life.

What if : Meron silang Branch sa U.S? hehehe, surely they know this a Filipino Resto., I cant imagine Americans will say: "Hey Dude There's a Filipino Resto near downtown New york,. American2 say : "whats the name dude ,TIAOOOOOOOO PEYPEYS" ahaha funny diba?!

BATMAN DARK KNIGHT :(JOKER)WHY SO SERIOUS?!

"Why so serious?", a saying of Joker, another movie sequence of Batman Dark Knight.

I rate it 8 of 10, it is almost a perfect movie except for the voice of Christian Bale when his on the suit of Batman, ahahaha its sounds funny and I feel Joker is the main Character of the Movie, but I love the sequel.
Its good to see How Movie directors and producers create a Comic/Cartoon Heroes to a Realistic Heroes to the Big screen.

Im looking forward of seeing the next villians like The Riddler, The Penguin and Catwoman, even The WonderBoy and sidekick Robin for the next movie.
The Director Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale as Batman, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine all return, with the late Heath Ledger as the infamous Joker, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel.

afternoon (1:00 P.M.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. All
must come in their white gala uniform, nurses cap, white duty shoes, without earrings,
hair not touching the collar and without corsage.
Admission tickets for the Manila oathtaking will be available starting August 1, 2008 in
your respective colleges of Nursing. Walk-in inductees who wish to join the Manila oathtaking
ceremonies may secure admission tickets at the Philippine Nurses’ Association, 1663 F.T.
Benitez Street, Malate, Manila on a strictly first come first serve basis.

Parehas kaming mahilig sa matamis, any groceries or store, pag kamiy nadadaan eh, my sweets siyang hawak,donuts,ice cream at iba pa,basta sweets,kamiy na papabili, di kaya tumaas yun sugar content namin yan at mauwi sa diebetes,hayz wag naman sana hehehe,habang wla pang sakit sige Go!,un ang sabi nya,sinusunod ko lang naman siya,Like Forest Gump said "Life's like a box of chocolates,You never know what you're gonna get", hehe connect ba?!,oo connect siya sa topic, my chocolates eh.

Minsan nadaan kame sa isang grocery store, at na kwento ko na my nabibili ako sa aming tindahan masarap ito at para naman maiba, o may choices naman tayong bagong sweets,hehehe. eto naman ay na diskubre ko lng sa aking kapatid na minsan nakita ko siya, may hawak na apat (4) na pirasong Choco Mucho, hiningi ko un isa,natikman ko aba, di naman ako nag react ng sobra nun natikman ko, sabi ko "Ang sarap ah"magkano? 6 pesos lng kuya," cge nga bili ka pa ng isa.ahaha.

Nasa Grocery na kame, bumili ako ng isang (1) box ng Choco Mucho, sabi ko, try mo ito ng iba naman yun sweets, kasi lagi nalang donut or ice cream!, abay nagalit, "anu ka ba? eh donut ang gus2 ko eh", nagtaray saken!,abay binantaan pa ko... na pag di ito masarap, kainin mo lahat!, aba, hindi ko mahihindian yan ,hehe, pero no choice na rin siya eh, nabili ko na! habang kame eh nagtatalo ahaha, xempre binuksan ko, at natikman nya, (no reaction pa siya),pero... humirit ng isa, so hindi na ako nagtanung kung nagustuhan nya, ahaha success, after a week, nagtanung "anu nga ba yun chocolate na kinain natin, na crispy, basta masarap sya" ahh "nakalimutan ko!", hehe, (sabay kurot) ah Choco Mucho .halata ko na, Adik na siya sa Choco Mucho, she cant resist hehehe, un lng.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIKE AND LOVE

I ,questioning myself,cause I 've been to this feelings,all of us, thinking about whats the difference?! between Love and Like , so I came to compose this Blog.

I certainly believe that there is a difference LOVE and LIKE,when you like somebody you just getting to know that person and trying to figure out,there is something more between the two of you. Like is not as deep as love is, like just meeting a friends, you dont know what the two of you will grow, as bestfriends or discover that you realy dont like that person .

Love is a wonderful and a beautiful thing,we live because we love. Love can do many things that you thought you would do and Like will not, Love can drive you crazy and even can do you crazy things, Love is a different thing because love runs deeper than like. Love is more forgiving and more giving than like. You wouldn't just give anything to somebody you liked, but you would for the person that you love because its more special. Like is a precious thing, it just doesn't get put into the same category as love because they are so opposite. Liking somebody is just liking somebody but loving somebody means making more sacrifices, being more giving and being a little bit more honest with somebody.
When you like somebody you don't really see a point to being as honest than when you love somebody. Like doesn't mean honesty it means friendship and for a lot of people it will always mean just friendship. Love is more than just a friendship and its more than just honesty. Its about giving, sharing and most of all its about commitment to that one person and nobody else. Love and like are different the only thing is love goes a lot deeper than like ever will.

But in front of the person you like , you get happy.

Ang nagagawa pag my bagyo nga naman, hehehe, last Saturday until Sunday (June 21 &22), the storm Frank is still threatening the areas of Metro Manila, and many casualties has been recorded, including my cellphone, ahahaha, akalain mu, muntik mabura un phonebook ko, buti nlang my kinopya ko sa extra sim un mga cp numbers, my nakialam ng cp, ang mga suspects ko xempre un mga kapatid ko!,sila yun salarin ang ebidensya naiwan pa!,,sa cp ko, yung mga pics nila,akalain mu un habang ako ay natutulog eh, kuha sila ng kuha ng pics,, pang friendster daw, sinabihan pa ako na isave mu sa frenster mu yan ah, para e grab namen, ahaha, tapos pag check ko sa phone book ko wala na!, ang naiwan un nasa phone memory nalang, buti nlang na copy ko sa isang extra sim ko yun mga numbers last 2 weeks ago, kaya medyo ok na, muntik na talaga akong magalit,,hehe..pero hapi parin, kc bonding moments narin nila yan pagkuha ng pics,kulet noh?

Boston will riff the L.A, just one more win and they are history,haha,, speaking of History, in the 1980's, two teams are great rivals in NBA finals ,remember the great Larry Bird in His smooth touch in or out the shooting range, and the Lakers Main man Magic Johnson, they collide in there own time.

Watching NBA is great, I've been a fan of Kevin Garnett, to Minnesota and then to Boston. Celtics develop their defense and offense as a team,,KG combining with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, all 3 great players on their time, playing outside and inside range on the court.

I hope Kobe and the rest of his team give up and make way for a new champions no more game 6, so Don't you worry KG, I wish for the Best!!
